The L4V External Shields/Repair Plates are security products designed to reinforce and protect vulnerable areas of commercial vehicles, particularly vans, from break ins and theft. They help to reduce the risk of bodywork punctures that give access to internal lock mechanisms and door latches.
Please note, these are NOT ANTI-DRILL, they are for a visual deterrent only and they cover pervious damage on your van doors.
L4V external shields are vehicle and door specific and so the products L4V supply vary depending on the make and model of your vehicle. The precise design and installation process of L4V External Shield/Repair Plates will vary depending on the specific make and model of the van.
We may suggest L4V Universal Shields where necessary but the successful fit of these depends on the curvature of the door. Also, whether there is anything obstructing the studs that fit on the inside. These are available in circular, square and rectangle.
The External Shields/Repair Plates from L4V are typically made of strong, durable materials such as stainless steel and are custom fit to specific van models. They are designed to cover and strengthen areas that are commonly targeted by thieves. Such as door handles, locks, and hinges etc.
