Rhino ImpactStep

Rhino ImpactStep protects your vehicle from low-speed parking and loading impacts. This significantly reduces body repair costs and vehicle downtime, which leads to big savings. The ImpactStep has advanced shock absorbing units and a special pivoting bracket that protects the vehicle from low-speed impacts, keeping your van moving.

It is a heavy duty rear step designed to provide additional safety and convenience when accessing the rear of your vehicle. Rhino have designed this step with van users health and safety in mind, ImpactStep has a full width design, large safety tread. It also includes anti-slip gripping tape.

The Rhino ImpactStep is thoroughly tested. TUV and KBA approved. As well as extensively load tested and independently bumper pendulum impact tested, all means the ImpactStep is extremely safe. The ImpactStep has safety features that enhance visibility and improve safety during use. It often includes reflective strips or markings to make the step more visible in low=light conditions, reducing the risk of accidents.

Available with or without reverse parking sensors, or with Connect+. Seamlessly integrate your vehicle’s existing OEM parking sensors into a Rhino step. This is via a simple ‘plug and play’ solution for selected vans. Please check your vehicle details before ordering.

A special pivoting bracket fits onto them to protect the vehicle from low-speed impacts and keep your van moving. The steps twin rubber buffers absorb shocks of up to 60mm compression. It’s crucial to follow the manufacturer’s instructions and ensure a proper and secure installation.

Bespoke outriggers for every vehicle ensures quick and simple fitting and installation. These outriggers are fitted to mounting points on the underside of the van chassis and extend outwards to position the step in the optimum location for ease of entry.
